I have known Janet for approximately seven years. I first met her at the gym where she would train me for about one hour once or twice a week. When Janet decided to leave that gym and go out on her own, I kept her as my trainer; I still work out with her a couple of times a week.

Janet is a person with a real mind-body orientation. She is always concerned that you be as psychologically healthy as you are physically fit. She believes that the boundaries between mental and physical are very small and that one is sure to influence the other. She has made a study of Chinese Medicine, and she brings that skill to her training.

Janet is an excellent trainer, and she is also an excellent person. She cares deeply about her clients and remembers from session to session the “events” of the prior session. I always look forward to the time I spend with her. She is well-trained, funny, emotionally connected, and always tries to learn something for herself from her contacts with her clients. An intense release of soft tissue tension
I’ve worked one on one with Janet twice, and both sessions left me feeling like I had worked out a lot of long-standing and recent tension from my system.  The movements are powerful and not only stretch and strengthen muscles, but balanced my whole system even releasing emotional baggage.   After the stretching, I noticed my shoulders sitting properly in their sockets, my legs became balance, my overall posture improved.  I am very happy with the results of my work with Janet and I highly recommend her.
