Stretch

Infinity offers a specialized stretching and strength training program that uses eccentric and concentric contractions to achieve overall soft tissue balance.

The method

A combination of Hatha Yoga, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Resistance Training and Shamanic Healing. The quick version of explaining how this works is that Resistance Training effects the body similar to Acupuncture, by unblocking energy pathways. In Acupuncture the therapist uses needles to access the meridian points closest to the surface of the skin, in Resistance Training we uses exercises that stretch and strength train muscle groups that lie within the meridian pathways.

What Does the Treatment Consist Of?

Private Resistance Sessions start out with an overall fitness evaluation, to determine which muscle groups need flexibility and which need strength. This session typically will run for 1 1/2 hours in order to complete Health Forms and answer any questions a client may have about the method.

During a followup session the following elements may be combined to address the issue going on with each individual client.

  • Mashing (deep tissue massage)
  • Flexibility/Strength initial evaluation
  • Stretch/Strength Training on the Board
  • Re-evaluation of parts of the body stretched/strength trained compared to the  side to be stretched…
  • Education regarding Physical/Spiritual/Emotional/Analytical associations with Meridians being worked

How Will This Benefit Me?

Its a great idea if you are trying this method for the first time to give it at least 5 sessions to educate yourself and really see if this works for you.

Infinity New Client Flexibility/Strength Sessions for (1 1-1/2 hour) initial sessions, and 4 (1 hour) sessions for $450.00, ($40.00 off regular price)

It is important to note that this is a very powerful form of training that WILL CHANGE you in some way or another. It is great for clients who are looking to really have some impact to change their level of fitness, i.e., improve fitness performance, find the root cause of a prolonged muscular injury, learn something new about yourself, physically, spiritually, emotionally or analytically. Athletes working towards Peak Performance understanding the meaning of dedication and hard work find this method an invaluable cross training modality. Another population that does well in this method is again those individuals who are interested in working towards better balance in their lives not only physically but emotionally, spiritually and mentally. Its not easy but the rewards are unbelievable.
